The forgotten Valley

The River which divides the Hills

Tawatinaw Hall

Tawatinaw, is the only place that actually spelled as it sounds. It has a staggering population of 15 people, which is up 200% from 2016. It was once known for being a stopping ground along the Athabasca Landing Trail, however, nowadays it’s known for the ski hill in the valley. Despite its small size it still draws attention from across Alberta. The region hosts many events such as a Spartan Race in 2015, the Alberta Gymnastic Winter Games Trials, and many Freestyle and cross-country competitions.
